Performance Features
OES8000S is capable of testing all interesting spectral lines within the wavelength range utilizing full spectrum test technology of CCD detector. Test bases, channels and analytical programs can be easily configured and added. The instrument is compact, good for laboratory placement and easy to be maintained. As a generic instrument used in steel and non-ferrous materials test, it is most optimized for analyzing Fe-based, Cu-based, Al-based, Ti-based, Pb-based, Mg-based, Co-based materials.

Full spectrum detection of metals and elements

Full spectrum technology based on CCD detector makes multi-bases and multi-element test in various metals possible.
Test bases, channels, analytical programs can be easily configured and added at the users' sites after delivery.

Core components come from international top suppliers in the industry.

Spectral dispersion part, or the grating, is made by German Zeiss that delivers excellent spectral resolution.
Spectral detector, or CCD, is made by Hamamatsu of Japan, sensitive to spectral lines and low noise.
Optical lenses are made from quartz glasses and fluorinated magnesium imported from other countries, featuring high transmittance of effective wavelengths.

Optical chamber constant temperature system

The thermostatic chamber, equipped with a reaction type heating device and an insulation layer, stays constant in temperature.
In this way, light path drift caused by minor change of mechanical parts under temperature variation is minimized. In routine maintenance, tracing is not required, which will be saved for special circumstances only.
Meanwhile, a detector working in constant temperature environment helps to stabilize photoelectric conversion.

Rapid and simultaneous analysis of multi-elements in steel and non-ferrous metals

OES8000S can show test results in at most 40 seconds after the pretreated sample is placed on the sample platform.
Nearly all common elements in steel and non-ferrous metals can be tested depending on customer demand.

Professional Test Solutions

Analytical programs are calibrated with international and national standard samples and are fitted and corrected by professional instrument software.

Instrument Installation Service
Before installation, the laboratory should meet the following conditions:

Ambient temperature: 16-30ºC. Air conditioning unit configured as per the standard that a space of 15m²requiresa wall-mounted 3500w AC unit.
Relative humidity: less than 75% (Ensure air vent from the AC does not blow directly toward the instrument).
Room requirements: a room configured according to the size of the instrument: height 435mm, weight 600mm and depth 600mm. Good sealing, no corrosive gas, no mechanical vibration and electromagnetic interference.
Power requirements: single phase 220V±10%, 30A, an AC regulator (1kW) is built in the instrument in standard configuration.
Argon gas: 2 or 3 bottles of argon gas with purity of 99.999% or higher (the max water and oxygen content is 2ppm).
